UX Designer (m/f)

Job description

Styla is looking for a research focused UX designer to help push our product to the next level. Your goal will be to improve the user experience for stakeholders, both internal and external, by providing well researched product improvements that can be turned into reality by our development team. 


With our Styla team of about 45 employees, we are developing a next-generation CMS. Our technology designs content automatically and makes integrated products directly shoppable. Based on the principles of graphic design and the fundamental power of data, Styla automates content design in accordance with user behavior. Our customers include companies and e-commerce stores such as Douglas, FootLocker, OBI, Jack Wolfskin, OTTO or Thomas Sabo.

Your tasks

  • Help us craft the best possible user experience throughout the entire customer journey
  • Conduct and own the research process. You are expected to bring academic, competitive and user research together into tangible improvements that benefit the user experience of our product
  • Analyze user flows across a variety of web properties (both user-facing and used internally) in order to align your concepts with business goals
  • Deliver sketches, wireframes and functional specifications that help push our product to the next level and that provide a solid basis for development
  • Seek and incorporate feedback from clients, users and internal stakeholders
  • Work in an agile and fast-paced environment where your direct cooperation with product managers and developers leads to fast and testable iterations of our product



  • You have 2-4 years of work experience in a similar role
  • You have expert level knowledge of UX fundamentals across various platforms
  • You have the ability to convey your ideas and defend the design rationale behind them
  • You are highly proficient in various research endeavors and techniques
  • You are highly proficient in researching and creating user flows
  • You are highly proficient in the creation of wireframes that detail complex user processes
  • You work together well with a team and can envision and iterate on concepts together
  • You speak English on a professional level
  • Nice to have: a background in e-commerce, the ability to create prototypes on your own, a solid understanding of web development and the ability to analyze user data (analytics) to guide your decision making
